Testimonials

The bunny class was awesome yesterday!! We were able to learn new holds, grooming techniques and all sorts of great info about our bunnies. I'm so excited to keep going forward from here!! I would totally encourage anyone who is interested in rabbits to take one of Colleen Boyd's classes. She gives classes at a lot of the fiber festivals and I'm sure if you sent her a msg over FB she would be more than happy to tell you when the next one.

What our customers are saying

"I traveled from Grand Rapids to Ann Arbor because Colleen Boyd was teaching a class on the care for angora rabbits; I was so incredibly glad that I did. At the time, I only had one bunny, and even though he was calm and patient with me, I had no idea how to hold him to clip his nails. He "caught" my insecurity, and would struggle, so I would do one foot a day and give him (and myself) time to recover before attempting the next set of nails. Yes, it is ok to laugh, I do, now. The write-up on the class said participants should bring a bunny so we could practice the skills as they were introduced, and she also brought along some of her own angoras. I not only learned how to hold a rabbit so it would not be fearful when nails were clipped, but also different holds for checking teeth, the "under carriage", and to move a rabbit from one location to another, etc. Colleen also brought along her clippers, and demonstrated how to hold and position the rabbit, and the correct angle of the clipper blade. Those of us that were interested got to practice shearing, too. Each class participant went home with a tool box that included some basic bunny care items, and a folder with copies of some of the information that Colleen so generously shared in class. Colleen is well known for the quality of the rabbits she breeds, and I am so glad that she shares her expertise with others. I now have more rabbits, and do not have to solve an algebra problem to figure out how many days it will take me to clip all of the nails! hehehe! Thanks, Colleen!"
